Dinosaur Museum

Dinosaur Museum Thermopolis WY 2012

Let's not find any of these in our homes, kay!

I once caught a fish THIS big!

 And THIS big!

In Maui, I swam with turtles.  They were a bit more alive than this one, but just as big!
The long one is a fossil from the bottom of the ocean.  Look how long.  Neat, huh!

I bet this is Cera's dad from Land Before Time.
T-Rex is just as scary as bones!
4 hour round trip drive for 30 minutes in the museum was NOT worth it.  I would have loved to spend more time- hours even- but we were both ready to slit our wrists by the time we were leaving.  Glad to have at least one pic with my kiddos!

TAG!

How grateful I am that my kids got to have a few days to play on the grass before the snow came and we moved.  Doesn't it look green?  And Soft?  And Fun?  The kids were in heaven!

Billings Temple

Our Ward Temple Trip was September 1, 2012.  I was in charge of babysitting and food, so I wasn't able to attend.  Now that we've moved, I wish I would have.  I didn't know this would be our last time going to that temple.  If I would have, the kids would either be in church dress or matching!  Oh well, they're still cute!

Wish I had a better camera.  So dark!

After six and a half years, our temple is much closer than 4 hours.  However, this one will always hold a special place in my heart.

Greener on the other side!

Coming in nicely.  Little did we know that, in a few short weeks, it would help us sell our house on the first showing!!!

Kinder

Shelby survived her first day of Kindergarten.  Doesn't she look so cute!  Love Gymboree!!!

Hammock

I wasn't feeling well at Edness K., so I voted going home.  I was vetoed.  Randy had his hammocks from Brazil, so we found a patch of trees and set up shop.  I laid on the tables while he got it ready.
 My own slice of heaven.
I took a picture just in time to hear a SNAP as the rope came loose and sent my world crashing to the ground.  I heard SNAP...CRYING!  It was so loud, and to those not in the hammock, funny!  Randy was confident that it would hold since we had it set up in Logan and had the whole family in it.  He also has pictures of 20 missionaries in it one time.  It just came loose.  He tied it, checked it many times, and then got back in.  Can you guess who wouldn't step close to that thing again?  Yep, Brennon.  He never walked near it again.  Typical behavior from my nervous Nelly!

One good thing when you don't feel well.  Snuggle time!
I love time with family.  Lazy time is always the best.  Especially when you can look back and laugh!  SNAP!

Edness K.

Before we moved, we wanted to experience all that Wyoming had to offer, so we took a trip to Edness K. Park.  It was such a nice day with no wind, and no one else around.  Perfect!

Randy took his net to have some fun with the fish.  You can see the quick swing as he was trying to catch our dinner.  Well, our entertainment at least.
See the colorful balls next to the net?  Those are the real bait, Trix!.  We caught a few and had the kids touch them.  Brennon, who is usually so timid, was the first to stick his hand in.  We were all clapping for his brave moment!
Who do you think dressed Brennon?
 My life!
It's so much easier to get pictures of the kids that actually stay close.  Man, I love that smile!
Keilie is fearless with fish.  She was all over holding them.
Randy likes his Sushi fresh!  YUCK!!!
Apparently, Keilie does too!  Can you believe the guts of this gal?!
Wish we would have gone to this place more than once in our six-point-five years in Casper!

Style

Just one of the many outfits this girl picked all by herself.  Love her style!

Camera Cuties

When downloading my camera I found a couple pictures that I hadn't taken.  Try 243!!!  These, however, were cute enough to keep.
 Brennon with his big eyes!
 Shelby showing her modeling prowess!
And, my personal favorite of all time.  I love how close they are.  How much they love each other.  How well they play together.  I'd like to think they learned to dance like this from watching Randy ask me to dance on those sweet moments when he gets a song that reminds him of me.  These two make their own music.

Buzz

I love Internet!!!  We're baaaack!  I can't wait to download the 4 months worth of pictures on my camera.  It's going to be a busy night.  Might have to leave the unpacked boxes for tomorrow.  Or next week.  Or never!  So, to start this long update off right, I'll start with a story I think is funny.  The kids were arguing (surprise, huh) over who got to be what character on The Avengers.  Keilie is Natasha Romanov, Caden is Hulk, Tyson is Iron Man, Shelby is the pretty girl with brown hair at the first.  Brennon didn't seem to be joining in on the selection so I asked him who he was.  In his cute little serious voice he said, "Buzz Lightyear!"  I guess I should have remembered that since Halloween was only 10 days previous.  Many updates coming up soon!

Barely Made It!

We had a bit of a problem fitting this little beauty on the truck and car trailer.   I was MORE than happy to send it to the Salvation Army.  Randy couldn't allow that!  In his defense, the kids really do love it.  It (regrettably) missed the Salvation Army Cut!
