Tosca

Shelby is a member of the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers Youth choir.  Last night, the Mid-Columbia Symphony and Mastersingers combined to perform excerpts from Tosca, showcasing three opera soloists.  It was beautiful.  This was what Tyson thought of the performance...

He was so out, he didn't rouse at all during the long, loud applause, nor my face caresses while calling his name, not even after Randy bopped him on the head a few times.  It took Randy forcibly shaking his shoulders and nearly pulling him up for his eyes to roll forward in his face, completely confused and groggy.  Even then, he looked like he was walking in his sleep.  You can see the marks on his forehead from the 30 minute nap before he raised his head to his hand.  He. Was. Out!

"Why didn't I choose bed instead of ice cream?" he asked as we sat down to Blizzards at DQ.  It was a wonderful night.
