Discover Gateway
Kimberly and I have been trying to figure out a time to get together again, since the last time was in January.  We tried to find something at the half-way point to rent for a few days, but nothing panned out.  So, she met me down in Utah for a few days before Danielle and Taylor's wedding.  It was perfect!!  We stayed in one of our condos that happened to be empty while we try to sell it or rent it, so we spent our money on activities instead.  And...since we both have passes from Casper to go to the Discovery Gateway for FREE, that was our first stop.  We always have such a good time there.
Above, Caden is showing his musical skills by playing a song on the large xylophone.  He really is super musical!
Each of the kids went to one station and played for a while.  They actually enjoyed each place instead of trying each out for a second and running to the next.  It was nice.  Tyson played at the water the longest.  It was crazy to realize that we spent an hour on the bottom floor without one kid complaining they were bored!
I loved Brennon's concentration.  His cute little puffy cheek face.  He's making this face a lot more recently.
It was fun to watch the kids in the "Store."
Caden made sure to stock the shelves nicely.  He loves to organize.  That's my boy!!!
Brennon would pick up an item, push the buttons at random, and place it on the other side.  He did this for probably 10 minutes.  It was quite adorable!
I love the hardhats on these boys!  Cute kids playing construction!!

Keilie and Hailey also did some stocking.  If only she could keep my cupboards at home that nice:)
 Making Sandwiches
 Tickling the Ivories.

Checking out the Mouse House I never would have noticed.  There was a light in there as well.  Fun!
I caught Caden playing.  He was able to pick out Mary Had a Little Lamb.
Love that he's cooking with a pan in one hand and a drill in the other!
Friends walking back from lunch.  These two are almost as close as Kimberly and I.  They were so excited to be together.  This was the norm for any time we were walking anywhere together.  They were inseparable!!!
I took this picture before someone pushed the button to start up the sound.  I'm not sure I've ever seen Brennon move as fast as he did getting out of there.  He was terrified it was taking off with him in it.  I was laughing when he said, "Mom, I do not want to fly in that thing!!!"  He wouldn't get in again!

I want a book like this one.  It had many different locks for the boys to open on each house.  I wanted to join in a few times.  Good thing the camera was my diversion.
All-in-all it was the best time we've ever had at the Discovery Gateway!  There was no fighting, no whining, and they enjoyed each place for longer than ever.  After, we stopped by Deseret Book to pick up a Father's Day gift for Danen.  We went back home, ate dinner, and put the kids to bed early.  We stayed up for a few hours later and went to bed early.  Perfect!!!
