My Mister did it again!
At 10:30AM, I received at text from Randy saying that Bonneville County, Idaho had signed the contract sealing the deal that New World Systems is their new public safety software.
Randy closed his second sale of the year today.
He would have called, but he was in a necessary meeting with Bonneville County's Fire department, showing them all that they would be getting. We didn't realize that it would be signed until after today's meeting, so it came a quite a shock to have the news so soon.
His first sale was Spokane County, Washington, just a few months ago. At one point, Randy thought he had lost that sale when they suddenly announced that they were going to sole-source it out. He was pretty upset for a few months. Then, news came that things have been reversed. And Randy pounced! Ultimately, it was said that the reason things were reversed was due to Randy and that the reason that New World Systems was chosen was also due to Randy. It was a big win.
Bonneville County didn't have a sole-source situation, but it was a big win for him, as well. When he first started 2.5 years ago, Bonneville didn't even want New World to walk through their doors. Through Randy's persistence and professionalism, one step led to another, and to another, that ultimately led to the contract being signed on this very day.
He has now hit his end-of-year quota by 125%.

The hurdle is over for Randy, but the race is not yet won. Through some negotiating and decisions made by the President of the company, we will have to wait to get our commissions until after the final payment is made. This could be tomorrow, it could be next week, it could be years, and it could be never. This news was given on Caden's birthday, and made for a very stressful weekend. However, Randy has shown great faith that it will all work out the way that our Heavenly Father knows is best in our lives. He is an incredible salesman. But he is an even more incredible man.
