As soon as Tyson heard we were going to Utah, his first request was: "I want to go fishing with Papa Burrell." I called him straight away and asked if we could put something on the calendar. My Dad was all-too-happy to comply. Bright and early, Randy and the kids, minus Brennon, packed up for a morning of fishing. Brennon stayed with Grandma Burrell and Kenyan for a day of fun, while I went to Kimberly's for a chat.
Shelby was heartbroken that she didn't catch a single bite... until Grandpa Burrell told them that they would be gutting the fish they caught.
Keilie didn't really mind...
Tyson was disgusted, but did great under Papa's guidance.
He washed his hand thoroughly, twice, and said he didn't know if he'd ever want to do that again. I don't blame him. I don't like catching them, gutting them, or even eating them. That's an activity that Tyson can do with Papa.
