Animal Kingdom

Tuesday, December 2, 2014

I love the Christmas tree decorated with an african/animal theme.  Each park had a huge tree.  This one was my favorite one of all.  And they had some cool trees!
This post won't let me add commentary after each picture.  Brennon and I stayed back from the water rapid ride.  As you can see, Keilie got more wet than anyone in our family.  And, to tell you the truth, anyone else that I saw coming off the ride.  The ride is long, so Brennon and I had a good wait time to watch for them.  At one point, I didn't see enough people even wet, that I actually thought we should have gone with them.  And then Keilie comes off the ride, soaked down to her femur, and I was again grateful that Brennon doesn't like to get wet.  Because, no matter how much I hate wet clothes, I would do it if everyone wanted to ride.  Thank you, Brennon, for hating to get wet!!

There is a ride here that everyone says is a must.  I wasn't quite sure what it was, so we took the whole family on it.  What a mistake it was!  It was a roller-coaster that was, at times, quite scary.  And fast.  And took you backwards in the dark.  And had Brennon shaking like a leaf in Casper wind by the end.  He was practically crawling out of his skin to get out of the seat.  I have never felt like such a horrible parent, until that moment.  He jumped into my arms the minute he could, shaking so hard, and asked me never to take him on that again.  The other kids loved it, so I took them again while Randy stayed with Brennon.  And then we all agreed that we never wanted to do it again.
It was intense.

The safari was the needed relaxing break after such a horrible experience.  We all had such a fun time on that ride.

The last picture shows our pretty ponchos, purchased before we left for Florida as a just in case.  So glad we did.  One from Disney cost $9.00.  Our whole family's cost that much.  Love me some cheap crap!  It was a constant downpour as we were waiting to take the Disney Transport to Hollywood Studios.
