10 Commandments Lesson

For Family Home Evening this week we taught the kids some hand signals to help them remember the 10 commandments. It went so well, we thought we'd show you, too!

 1- One God

Thou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me

 2- Bull Horns

Thou Shalt Not Make Unto Thee Any Graven Image

 3- 3 fingers covering your lips

Thou Shalt Not Take The Name of The Lord Thy God In Vain

 4- This is the Steeple

Thou Shalt Keep The Sabbath Day Holy

 5- Sign Language for Mother and Father

Thou Shalt Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother

 6- Guns

Thou Shalt Not Kill

 7- Keep all others out of your marriage

Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery

 8- 8 Fingers "bars" in front of your face

Thou Shalt Not Steal

 9- 9 Fingers "telling" lies

Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness

10- Sign Language for "Want." 10 Grabbing Fingers
