Disastrous!!

I saw a wreath on Pinterest and decided to make one for my own. I took the kids to Hobby Lobby this morning to buy the necessary supplies. I was almost giddy with the idea of doing something that I wanted to do. I'm not complaining, but I have lived the last few months without too much thought for myself. This wreath was going to be ONLY for my enjoyment. I was SO excited. Until I hung it up. 

The woman said that hers was 16' and it was just too big on her door, so I thought 12' would work nice. Nope! That this is massive. I hung it from some string, hoping it would allow the door to close. 

The front door closed, but...

And...

Man, what a crushing blow. I would absolutely LOVE it if it wasn't so big. And bushy. And loud. And flashy. And huge! I couldn't throw it away, so I put it like this...

It works for now with the ladder set for school. I hate that it screams, Look at me!, but I can't waste the money, time, and excitement. So, for now, I'm gonna leave it up. And bash anyone that visits in the face. Because you basically have to stand on the street to avoid it!!
