Jump!

The kids have decided that they don't like going swimming in the afternoon as much as at night, because of the mandatory 10- minute breaks every hour for the lifeguard. So when we asked them what they wanted to do yesterday, it was a unanimous "swim at 6:00pm."  So instead of sitting around all day, we pulled out the badminton set again, and had a Dirks Family Tournament after dinner. And not to brag, but there is one member of the family that is just a bit better (and a bit more competitive) than the rest. We won't name names (we'll call her S. Dirks, or Stephanie D., you choose) but she killed it!

One thing that we never considered was weather. At our normal time of 1:00pm, it was sunny and perfectly warm at 80 degrees. At 6:00pm, it looked like this

But as you can see, it didn't stop my crazies from jumping in.
