More have joined!!

We have two more recruits for Caden's crew!

 Randy asked Caden to shave his head before church today.  He was able to do a couple swipes before his energy gave out, but it was a neat experience in that bathroom.  For me, at least.

 Randy had told me that he was super nervous to shave his head.  Once, on his mission to Brazil, someone had botched a haircut and he had to get it shaved.  It was pretty traumatic for him, he wasn't anxious to have that experience again.  He realize there was a difference this time, so he sat down and had Caden do it.  I've never found him more handsome!

As a side note, look at Caden's left eye.  Just a reminder of all that Caden had endured.  Just a few short years ago we learned that Caden's eye didn't develop fully in-utero, leaving him medically blind in one eye.  His right eye is 20-20, so the brain just "shut off" the left eye and was making the right eye do all of the work.  For six months he used a patch on the right eye to get the brain to use the left eye with correction.  It was miraculous how fast his brain got the message.  The doctor was amazed to see him go from "blind" to 20-30 with correction so fast.  He truly is a miraculous boy!

 As soon as Brennon saw Randy doing it, he made the decision to do it as well.  We didn't have enough time to do it before church, and he was begging before we even got in the car after church.  He wanted to be part of the crew!

 And then he lost his nerve.

Just kidding!  He wanted to make a silly face.  Typical Brennon!

When giving the boys a choice, Tyson and Brennon were outspoken about their aversion to the idea.  Brennon caved, Tyson is still adamant that he doesn't want to do it.  He actually asked for me to take him to Halle and Paige's to have Tara cut it.  I respect his choice, but am glad more have joined!
