Crafty

I love to decorate.  I love looking through different magazines, watching remodeling shows, following decorating blogs, and scrolling through Home Decor pictures on Pinterest.  I never begin decorating until I've envisioned the space, and I never purchase anything without knowing exactly where I'm going to use it.  I love to wander through decor stores, but I rarely make rash decisions about decor.  Candy/cookie/carb aisle rash decisions are another story, though.  I haven't been as crafty since cancer care because I haven't had much time, energy, or emotion to do it, but I still love to imagine a home decorated with everything I love.

However, as soon as I saw this project on my cousin, Natalie's, new website, I felt a deep need to have it.  I knew it would be a picture that I would use forever more in any home that we live in.  I'd love to say that I will live in this new house forever more, but we all know what it means that I am married to Randy Arthur Dirks-- he never settles!

I ordered my project {here}, received it in the mail last night, and giddily worked on it and finished it before bed.  I am in heaven.

Isn't it gorgeous?!  Each and every item she and her husband, Bryan make and assembles is a finish-it-that-day craft-party package.  My package came with every single item needed to finish this beauty in just 2.5 hours, most of which was dry time.  It would have been an absolute blast to do it with friends, but I still had fun from start to finish.  The printed instructions were clear and precise, making me feel that I would have no problem doing it on my own.  I am very happy with how it turned out.  I can't wait to showcase it in my new home, the home that we should get the keys for in just THREE DAYS!!!  If you are looking for cute home decor that you can make with a bunch of friends, check out her {website}.  It is full of CUTE stuff!!!  Thanks, Natalie, for my new favorite decor item!!!
