Gift

Having been married to Randy for almost 17 years now, I've come to acquire the gift of hearing little differences in his responses that allow me to decipher, in part, what he's thinking.  While standing in line to check-in for Caden's CT scan on Friday, Randy gave a little "hm" with just the right decibel of surprise and excitement, that I knew he was pleased with the news he'd just read in his email.

In an off-hand, trying-too-hard tone, "Well, it looks like I got another signed contract this morning."

And just like that, Randy landed his second sale of the year.  GO, RANDY!!!!

See, I told you he was pleased.  It's a gift.
