You know you need to step up the laundry chores when your five-year-old daughter says in a grateful tone, "Thank you mom for my clothes.  It's been so, so long since I've had clothes in my drawers.  I love it.  Thank you for washing my clothes!"  In my defense, they've been clean and ready to be put away and hung up, it's just taken a few hours days weeks to get it done:)

While riding to the swimming pool yesterday, I was quizzing Caden on his Dog Care merit badge.  He was telling me how important it is to not only have life jackets for humans, but for your dogs as well.  Shelby piped up from the back seat, "Nuh Uh, Caden.  Once a dog gets in water it turns into a dog fish!"
