Decorate

While at camp side-by-side, they had an activity where each of the kids and buddies got together in two teams to build a ship out of cardboard, complete with colored flags and other decor.  Since we had someone to watch over our kids during this activity, we just went back to our room for a little rest.  Wi-fi was pretty spotty throughout the entire camp, so it came as a little bit of a shock/surprise when Randy's phone chimed that he'd received a text.  It was from Caden, showing a picture that Tyson had drawn on their ship's main sail.

When asking him about the picture, he matter-of-fact replied, "Well, Shelby drew someone that is sick, so it gave me the idea.  This boy feels sick, but he got hit in the eyes, too, and there is blood coming from his eyes."  And then he said my favorite part, in his cute little voice from his cute little lips-- "That's what you get when you ask a seven year old to decorate!"  He did it with a slight little lift of his cute little shoulders, just so matter-of-fact.  My gosh, can you get any cuter?!

I guess you could say we asked for it!
