Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the busiest after-school-activities days of our week. It seems that I am practically in the car all night, with one activity ending with just enough time to drop off one child and pick up another for another activity. Add in Caden's driving class on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for a few weeks (extended due to Snow Days/weather) and you have an even tighter schedule on both days.
During each of the few minutes between driving sessions, Tyson asked if we could play Settlers of Catan: Cities and Knights. I had to tell him over and over that we just don't have enough time. As I was tucking him in last night, he asked if we could play it 'tomorrow, please, if we have any extra time.' I told him that it probably wouldn't happen, but yes, if we had enough time.
We have time-- we are experiencing our 9th Snow Day today, due to freezing rain. Looks like the kids will have celebratory fireworks for their last day of school, seeing as they'll probably be going until the 4th of July. Independence day spent in the confines of another school day. Awesome.
