Brennon

During one of the combined activity times at camp Side-by-Side, Caden leaned over to Randy and I and said, pointing across the aisle, "That cute little boy over there looks just like Brennon!!"

We thought he was joking-- it WAS Brennon.  He looked so confused when we told him it was Brennon.  And then we laughed and laughed.  And laughed.  I can't help laughing a little each time it comes to memory.   It's not as if it was from 100 rows back-- it was truly about 15 chairs away.  His blind eye doesn't impair him often, but it does every once in a while.  Doesn't mean he will wear his glasses, though.  Amblyopia eye Punk.

Randy was telling Brennon that he might be a little late returning home from work on Tuesday- the day we will celebrate Brennon's birthday this year- so he asked if Brennon wanted to go to dinner on Tuesday, or on Saturday evening.

"Well, since it's not my real birthday, we might as well go tonight."

We'll probably celebrate it on both February 28th and March 1st.  Like we do every single year.  After all, his birthday is the day after February 28th, which would make it March 1st, but it is also the last day of February, making it February 28th.  The boy has one true birthday every four years, and two birthday dates the other three years in between.

"Mom, I'm gonna turn 2 and 1/4 years this year."

Brennon brought home a paper, telling us that he gets to be Star Student this week.  Along with 12 pictures, he is supposed to bring a few items that he'd like to use for a show and tell sesh.  His first item: Cereal in a baggie.  Surprise, surprise.

Randy took him on a little bit of a date last night to Baskin Robbins.  He refused any and all flavors; he got his usual: Vanilla.

My goodness, this boy is adorable!!  I love my B-boy!!!
